bouncin' - rollin' - taking a stroll

i felt the need to stretch out that day

dryer's tumblin' - somethings comin'

hearing voices through the window screen

lots of laughing - it's time for packing

so i pushed to stop the bar-be-que

now we better get moving - i know my day is due

i'm so happy - just to be - positive lee

moved the party to the avenue

horns a honkin' - not much talkin'

but i could feel the love beneath a half lit moon

over the bridges - avoiding the ditches

now i'm soaring all the way to the 10th floor

i'm rounding midnight - but at the door

the water slide - i'm next in line

dangerous very - exciting and scary

but i know the love that made this mine

right here beside me - ready to guide me

through my first of many unknown doors

i'm keepin' my thumbs up - i'm ready to soar

angels flying high - light and wonder fills my eyes
